Welcome Shadow it is your first day of training with Jennifer Bauer.  Shadow a gaited horse, is getting used to me and I’m able to get a feel for her.  This 1st day is going to give me the opportunity to learn what she knows.  Does she give in the axis and atlas?  What does she knows about moving her front and hind feet?   What does she knows about humans and how comfortable is she with me.  My goal for the first day is to ask her to give in the poll and ask her to move her front and hind feet.  By asking her to move her feet we are going build her confidence in herself and me.
